On Flux of China's Social Hierarchy and Its Impact on Building of a Harmonious Society

The great changes in China's social structure during the transformation period will exert positive influences upon the building of a harmonious society.On the other hand,new problems will arise as well,characterized by greater income differentials,wider gaps between the rich and the poor,intense social conflicts,and increasing social instability.In order to harmonize the interest of different social classes and construct a harmonious society,we must lay the material foundation based on which every group shares the progress of the whole society,make the social structure more reasonable with the help of government policies,establish mechanisms concerning the flux of social hierarchies and the adjustment of social benefit,and dissolve social conflicts.
