Abstract

Constructing a socialist and harmonious society has already become an important aim of social development in the Contemporary China. The Contemporary China is entering a society with many risks because of the huge social changes. Among these social risks, the weakened social control is particular one resulted from system transition. Therefore, perfecting social organizational mechanism and social management and establishing complete social control system is the important safeguard to build harmonious and well - off society. How to select the social control pattern which is suit for Chinese reality and build social control system is the most important issue both theoretically and practically in the Contempory Chinese social management. This paper from the angel of sociology of law discusses the Contemporary Chinese social control patterns, and the meanings, means, methods and approaches of social control as well as the relationship of social control and social order constructing.
