Effectivenss and Pharmacoeconmic Analysis of Gatifloxacin and Levofloxacin in the Treatment of Urinary Sytem Infection

Objective To compare the cost-effectiveness ratio of gatifloxacin and levofloxacin in the treatment of patints with infection in urinary system.Methods Principle of pharmaconomics wsa adopted to analyze the cost-effectiveness of two trestment schemes.Results The effective rates of gatifloxacin group and ievoflosacin group in the treatment of urinary system intection were 92.86% and 88.46%(P0.05) respectively;the incidence rates of adverse reacrions were 7.1% and 9.0%(P0.05);The cost-effectiveness rauos(C/E) were 7.99 and 6.53 respectively.The cost for every one unit increment of effectiveness tor gatifloxacin group was 37.43 Yuan more than that of the levofloxacin group.Conclusion The cost-effectiveness ratio of levotloxccin is superior to that of gatifloxacin in treatment of urinary system infection.
