Abstract
Objective To study the effect of the Concentrated Compound Danshen JianLi Granule on anti-fatigue in mice. Methods Eighty kunming mice were randomly divided into 5 groups;the blank control group, the positive control group, the low, medium and high dosage(72,216,864 mg/kg) groups, with 16 mice in every group.Fourteen days after oral administration of the drug, the time of exhaustion, the concentration of MDA and the activity of SOD were closely monitored in the weight-loaded swimming mice, and the activity of LDH was also monitored and compared for the non-weight-loaded swimming mice. Results The medium and high dosages of Concentrated Compound Danshen JianLi Granules could obviously prolong the swimming time for the weight-loaded mice, the swimming time for the blank control group and the high dosage group was(408±125)and(578±132)s respectively(P0.01).The activity of SOD in serum increased(the activity of SOD for the blank control group and the high dosage group was(188.68±11.64)and (232.38±12.66) U/ml) respectively. The concentration of MDA decreased(the concentration of MDA for the blank control group and the high dosage group was(16.62±1.26) and(9.46±1.68) nmol/ml) respectively. The activity of LDH increased(the activity of LDH for the blank control group and the high dosage group was(4022±528)、(5537±246)U/g protein). The effect of the preparation on anti-fatigue was in the following ascending order;the effect of the high dosage was greater than that of the medium dosage, and the effect of the medium dosage was greater than that of the low dosage(the high dosage group the medium dosage group the low dosage group). Conclusion The Concentrated Compound Danshen JianLi Granule seems to have a significant effect on anti-fatigue and is an effective anti-fatigue agent prepared from Chinese medicinal herbs.
