Abstract
Objective:To study the antifatigue effect of rhodiol capsules on mice. Methods: The ICR male mice were randomized into four groups,i.e.one control group and three dosage groups of rhodiol capsules. The three treatment groups were given various doses of rhodiol capsules,i.e.0.45 g/kg·bw,0.90 g/kg·bw,1.35 g/kg·bw respectively, for 30 days. The body weight,weight-loaded swimming time, and the levels of serum urea nitrogen, hepatic glycogen and blood lactic acid were determined. Results: The weight-loaded swimming time in medium-dosage group was significantly longer than the control group, and the serum urea nitrogen in medium-dosage group and blood lactic acid in medium/high-dosage group were significantly lower than the control group. Conclusion: Rhodiol capsule can alleviate the exercise-induced fatigue in mice.
