Abstract

To compare the determination results by ECLIA and DELFIA for thyroid hormone levels, to establish a method of difference correction, and to set up a quality control system for these two instruments, 77 blood samples were collected and T3 ,T4 ,TSH,FT3 and FT4 levels were determined by E170 ECLIA and Auto DELFIA 1235. The results between the two instruments were analyzed by paired t-test. There were significant differences in results of T3 , T4 , FT3 and FT4 (P0. 05) ;but the results of TSH were concordant(P0. 05). For the results of T3, T4, TSH, FT3 and FT4 analyzed by linear regression, the correlation coefficients between these two instruments were r0. 970. The correlation analysis showed P0. 05. It is indicated that the correlation was good between these two instruments. The results of T3, T4, FT3 and FT4 by these two instruments showed different, but the results of TSH were concordant. The best method to eliminate differences between the results determined by these two instruments may be establishing a correction method.
