Abstract
Objective To evaluate Chemical Luminal Immunoassay (CLIA) in detecting serum CA125 of patients with ovarian epithelial cancer. Methods The serum CA125 in 203 patients with ovarian epithelial cancer was detected by CLIA.The 638 healthy women were chosen as control subjects. Results There were 184 positive patients among 203 patients. The sensitivity and specificity of serum CA125 were 90.6% and 94.5% respevtively, and accuracy was 93.6%.Conclusion CLIA is the best of all the methods of detecting serum CA125,and the detection of CA125 antigen is quite significant for the prognosis and therapeutic effect in patients with ovarian epithelial cancer.
