Analysis on the Utilization of Narcotic Analgesics in the Inpatients of Gansu Provincial Hospital of Maternal and Child Health from 2006 to 2010

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and tendency of the utilization of narcotic analgesics in Gansu Provincial Hospital of Maternal and Child Health.METHODS:The utilization of narcotic analgesics in the inpatients of our hospital during 2006-2010 period was analyzed statistically in respect of consumption sum,consumption quantity and DDDs etc.RESULTS:Both the consumption quantity and the consumption sum of narcotic analgesics in our hospital increased year by year.In 2010,the consumption quantity of fentanyl citrate injections was decreasing but that of sufentanil citrate injections was increasing.CONCLUSION:The utilization of narcotic analgesics in our hospital is basically rational;however,learning and management remain to be intensified regarding the choice of analgesics after surgery and the utilization of new narcotic analgesics.
