Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the status quo and tendency of the utilization of narcotic analgesics in our hospital for references of clinical rational use of narcotic analgesics. METHODS: The utilization data of narcotic analgesics during 2010-2012 including consumption amount,DDDs and consumption sum were collected from hospital computer management system and analyzed statistically. RESULTS: The consumption amount of narcotic analgesics( peroral dosage form) showed a rising trend, much as in the consumption of morphine sustained release tablets. The consumption amount of narcotic analgesics for injection decreased significantly, much as in the consumption of remifentanil injection, sufentanil injection and pethidine injection. CONCLUSION: The utilization of narcotic analgesics in our hospital becomes more and more reasonable accompanied by improving of its clinical efficacy.
