Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of microcrystabline over filling therapy for chronic periapical periodontitis.Method:The sick teeth with chronic periapical periodontitis were treated by root canal therapy, and the root canal was filled with vitapex or ZOE plus iodofom according to the rarefied area in root tip. Results: The therapy was effective for 311 of 319 teeth treated, with the effective ratio of over 90%.Conclusion: the microcrystalline over filling therapy for chronic perinpical periodontitis is feasible, which can shorted the course of treatment and facilitate sick teeth cure.
