Constructing the Subject Consciousness of the Peasants and the Rural Public Cultural Service System

Since the reform and opening,the rural economic and social development has made great progress. However,due to the excessive attention cast onto the economic development for a long time and insufficient attention paid to the construction of public cultural service,the private culture has been brought up in the rural areas. Based on the subjectivity of the peasants,this article analyzes the internal relationship between the realization of the dominant position of the peasants and the construction of public cultural service system. That apart,it explains,from the macro and micro aspects,the factors that have influenced the construction of public cultural service system in the process of realization of peasants' subjectivity,with an emphasis on great important role of peasants' self-consciousness and the transformation of peasant identity. Finally,it explores for certain effective ways of promoting the realization of peasants' subjectivity in the two perspectives of the government and the peasants respectively.
