New Rural Construction and Development of Peasants' Subject Consciousness

New rural construction is a great practice for peasants to create a happy life and future.Peasants are the subjects in the construction.To bring such subjects into full play,peasants' subject consciousness must be fostered and built.Aiming at exploring the deficiency of consciousness among contemporary peasants in China,this thesis deems that the construction of peasants' subject consciousness should be based on the following: the emancipation of mind,the transformation of thoughts,developing production mode and productivity in rural areas,breaking down the dual economic structure of urban and rural areas,deepening the systematic reform in rural areas and improving the qualities of peasants themselves.What's more,the traditional culture and the material,systematic and inherent conditions which restrict the generation of peasants' subject consciousness must be elininated.
