Abstract
Objective To investigate the change of serum lipoprotein(a) and its significance in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods The levels of Lp(a) in 72 patients with acute cerebral infarction and 60 controls were detected by immune transmission turbidity method, and the relationship between Lp(a) level and the infarction area were analysed. Results Lp(a) level of patients with cerebral infarction in acute stage was higher than control group(P0.05),lipoprotein(a) level in patients with massive cerebral infarction was higher than in patients with small cerebral infarction or lacunar cerebral infarction. It was positive correllation between the scores of neurologic impairment function lipoprotein(a) levers. Conclusions The levels of Lp(s) increase in patients with acute cerebral infarction,so it can be regarded as one index of patient's condition and curative effect.
