Abstract
Objective To study the correlation between serum lipoprotein(a) concentration and cerebral infarction. Methods Fifty four cerebral infarction patients and normal controls were analyzed to determine the correlation between serum lipoprotein(a) level and cerebral infarction. Results The serum lipoprotein(a) level in the cerebral infarction patients was (363±101)mg/L,and (226±94)/ L in the normal controls . The difference was significant statistically (P0.05). Conclusion These date indicate the high lipoprotein(a) level being a risk factor for the prograssion of atherosclerosis.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
