Abstract
Objective:To study the lipid-lowering and antihypertenstion effect of exercise combined with diet for patients with high blood pressure. Methods:56 cases of senile hypertension patients in Xi'anRailway Vocational Technical College and Shaanxi Province Comprehensive Rehabilitation Hospital were randomly divided into two groups according to admission order,28 cases in each group. Exercise intervention group used excerises and diet therapy while control group patients only used diet intervention treatment. Six months later,patients' blood pressure and blood lipid level changes in two groups were compared. Results:After six months treatment,exercise intervention group patients' SBP and DBP values were respectively(126.5±9.6)mmHg and 68.9±8.5 mmHg,significantly lower than those before treatment,and lower than those of the control group after intervention(136.8±13.2)mmHg and 86.9±8.7 mmHg. There were statistically significant differences(P0.05). After intervention,exercise intervention group's serum LDL,TC,TG levels compared with those before treatment were significantly decreased,and the degree of decline was more obvious than that of the control group,and HDL levels were significantly increased than those before treatment,and the increase was significantly higher than that of control group and the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion:Exercise combined with diet can significantly reduce blood pressure and blood lipid levels and the curative effect is significant. It is worthy of popularization and application.
