Abstract
Objective: To investigate clinical significance of total bile acid(TBA) in determing cirrhosis. Methods:We collected the data of liver function of 92 cirrohosis patients and compared sensitive difference between TBA and other indexes. Results:TBA was higher in cirrohosis group than in healthy control groups ( P 0.01).There was a significant difference between Grade A,B and C ( P 0.01),whereas no significant difference between Grade B and C was found ( P 0.05),and TBA showed a higher positive rate than other indexes ( P 0.01).Conclusion:TBA is not only a valuable index reflecting collateral circulation in cirrhosis patients but also one of sensitive indexes reflecting the damage of liver cell.
