Abstract

Objective To study the treatments of BPH complicated with bladder tumor.Methods The clinical data of 35 cases of bladder tumor with BPH treated by trans urethral resection of bladder tumor(TURBt) and TUVP(trans urethral vaporization of prostate) simultaneously were reviewed.Results All patients in this team recovered smoothly without complications except 6 cases of tumor recurrences which occurred not in the prostatic urethra.Conclusion TUVP applied to the patients with bladder cancer through urethral can not increase the risk of prostatic fossa implantation.It can decrease relapse rate and improve life quality,if much more care is given before,during and after operation.
