Simultaneous TURBt and TUVP for bladder tumor with BPH

Abstract

To evalute the feasibility of TURBt combined with TUVP for bladder tumor with BPH. The clinical data of 22 cases of bladder tumor with BPH treated by simultaneous TURBt and TUVP were reviewed. All patients this team rehabilitated smoothly no complications were observed, four tumor recurrences occurred not in the prostaticurethra. [Conclusions] Our data indicate that simultaneous TURBt and TUVP is a safe timesaver, do not negatively affect tumor implantation in the prostatic fossa.
