Observation of the Efficacy on MDS-RA Treated with Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy on myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS-RA)treated with integrated Chinese and western medicine.Methods The practical randomized controlled clinical trial method was adopted,176 cases were randomized into treatment group(95 cases)and control group(81 cases).In treatment group,the formula for clearing away heat and detoxification and stanozolol were applied.In control group,stanozolol and vitamin B6 were administered.After 45-day treatment,and 6-month observation,the efficacy was assessed.Results In treatment group,82 cases were released basically,3 cases released partially,2 cases improved,8 cases failed and the total effective rate was 91.6%.In control group,4 cases were released basically,7 cases released partially,9 cases improved,61 cases failed and the total effective rate was 24.7%.The statistical significant difference presented in the effective rate between two groups(P0.01).Conclusion The integrated Chinese and western medicine obtains the satisfactory efficacy on MDS-RA and deserves to be promoted in practice.
