Efficacy of inhalation therapy of terbutaline combined with budesonide in treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Objective To study the methods and effects of treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease( COPD)with inhalation therapy of terbutaline combined with budesonide. Methods We chose 106 patients with COPD from July2010 to July 2011,and divided them into 2 groups,53 cases in each: the experimental group and control group. Both of the two groups were treated with anti-inflammation,relieving asthma,expectorant and oxygen therapies,meanwhile,the experimental group was treated by inhaling terbutaline combined with budesonide. The two groups were treated for 14 days,and the PaO2and PaCO2changes before and after treatment were observed. Results No significant differences were found in PaO2and PaCO2between two groups before treatment( P 0. 05). After treatment,the PaO2and PaCO2in the experimental group were better than those in the control group( P 0. 05). The effective rate of experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Using the inhalation therapy of terbutaline combined with budesonide can obviously improve the clinical symptoms in patients with COPD,and raise the blood oxygen concentration.Curative effect is distinct,and is worthy of being widely applied in clinic.
