Efficacy of Small Incision Phacoemulsification Cataract Extraction and Intraocular Lens Implantation

Objective To observe the small incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation effect.Methods The hospital from December 2008 to December 2010 the application of small incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation for cataract patients,60 cases(60).Elect the same period using the conventional incision cataract surgery for 60 patients contrast,the two groups of visual acuity and astigmatism and complications.Results Visual acuity≥0.5,the observation group was significantly higher than the best eye visual acuity,the difference was significant(P0.05).After 4 weeks,two average astigmatism,the difference was significant(P0.05).The observation group complications was significantly less than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Small incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation surgery caused by astigmatism is small,tissue damage,faster visual recovery after surgery,intraoperative and postoperative complication rate is low and worthy of clinical application.
