Abstract

Objective To explore the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in differentiation between benign and malignant breast tumor. Methods 40 cases of 45 breast tumors in total were given CEUS,observe the distribution characteristics of contrast medium in these tumors, then make a comprehensive analysis by using time intensity curve and manifestation of two-dimensional ultrasound. Results The differentiation between contrast medium distribution and pattern of time intensity curve was large in malignant tumor(P0.05),with statistical significance, benign tumor,on the contrary, was similar to normal tissue(P0.05).Contrast with pathological results, the diagnostic rate of malignant breast tumor was: 70% with color Doppler ultrasound,81% with CEUS,90% with time intensity curve;was 99% when combine with these three methods. Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound combined with CEUS has high value for differentiation between benign and malignant breast tumor.
