Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical application value of contrast - enhanced ultrasound in differential diagnosis of small breast tumor(≤2.0 cm).Methods Fifty - seven patients with small breast tumors were examined by contrast - enhanced ultrasound before operation.The type of time- intensity curve(TIC) and tumor enhanced mode were analyzed by TIC software.Then the differences between benign and malignant tumor were analyzed.Results In the cases with breast benign and malignant tumors,there was no significant difference among the tumor size,base intensity and peak intensity(P0.05).While there was significant difference among the increased intensity,enhancement intensity index and rising slope rate,and also between the curve type and enhanced mode (P0.01).Conclusion The increased intensity,enhancement intensity index and curve type of breast tumor after contrast - enhanced ultrasonography can be valuable parameters in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast small tumors.
