Abstract
Objective To establish a new method for the determination of metal elements in water by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS).Methods Water samples were diluted multiples of 1 times with 2% HNO 3 and then determined by ICP-MS.Results The recovery rates were from 92.5 % to 105.0%.The calibration graphs were linear from 0.5 μg/L to 500.0 μg/L for 23 elements with a correlation coefficient of more than 0.999 8,and the relative standard deviation was less than 6.1%.Conclusion This method is simple,quick,accurate,sensitive and applicable to the determination of metal elements in water.
