Abstract

Objective To establish the method for direct determination of 20 elements in blood by octopole reaction system inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ORS-ICP-MS). Methods The samples were diluted by 0.1% Triton X -100 +0.1% HNO3. The solution was directly analyzed by ORS -ICP -MS for determination of twenty elements, inclduign Pb,As,V,Cd etc. Results The detection limits of each element was between 0.005μg/L~1.09μg/L. Standard linear correlation r≥0.999. Standard deviations were below 5%,recovery rates were in the range of 85.3%~112% .Standard reference materials were used as quality control standards and the analysis results conformed well to the certified values. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid, accurate and reliable for determination of samples.
