Abstract
Objective To report results of fresh amniotic membrane transplantation for stenosis of cul-desac.Methods Fresh amniotic membrane transplantation(26cases,26eyes)was performed on stenosis of cul-desac to reconstruct the conjunctival sac. Results No acute rejection was observed. The conjunctival sac was reconstructed successfully in all cases after surgery. Conclusion Amniotic membrane transplantation promotes normal conjunctival epithelialization while suppressing fibrosis fromation.Fresh amniotic membrane can be used as a graft to reconstruct the conjunctival sac and it is safe, effective and simple method for the treatment of stenosis of cul-desac.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.

Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
