Abstract
Objective To detect the application of amniotic membrane transplantation(AMT) in thetreatment of severe stenosis of conjunctival sac. Methods 31 cases of patients were treated with conjunctivalreconstruction according to the area of defect of conjunctiva. Inferior fornix were deeped in 21 casessimultaneously. Results 26 cases were followed up about 6-36 months, the other 5 cases were missed. 2426cases were successfully treated and reveived implantation of ocular prosthesis. Conclusions Conjunctivalreconstruction combined with amniotic membrane transplantation were effective in the cases with severe steno-sis of conjunctival sac.
