Abstract

This essay begins with the philosophy source which influences the thinking patterns of English and Chinese.By using examples this essay illustrates two obvious differences of thinking patterns between English and Chinese and their reflection in sentence structure.In order to study English well,we should not ignore the effect of thinking pattern on language.
