The Experiment of the Decoction of YI SHE HUO XUE Chinese Medicinal Herb Resist of the Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective To assess the mechanism of YI SHE HUO XUE Chinese herb resist diabetic nephropathy.Methods SD rats were randomly divided into four groups :normal control group(A),low dose group(B,YI SHE HUO XUE Chinese herb 18g.Kg-1.d-1by gavage),high dose group(C,26g.Kg-1.d-1 by gavage),diabetic model group(D).Some rats were induced by streptozocin(STZ)to make diabeticmodel rats.At week 6,the contents of blood glucose,triglycerides(TG),serum creatinine(SCr),total cholesterol(TC) in serum were determined,the contents of lipid peroxidatin(MDA),glutathione and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)in renal and pancreatic tissue were determined.Renal tissue morphology were observed by light and electron microscopy.Results The contents of blood glucose,TG,SCr,TC of diabetic rats were higher than normal rats.YI SHE HUO XUE Chinese herb could reduce the contents of TG,SCr,TC.The contents of MDA of diabetic rats were higher than the normal rats.the contents of GSP and the activities of SOD,GSH-Px of diabetic rats were lower than the normal rats.YI SHE HUO XUE Chinese herb can increase the activitie of GSH-Px in renal and pancreatic tissue and can increase the activitie of SOD in renal tissue.The renal tissue morphology of the rats of diabetic model group show morphology' change but The renal tissue morphology of the rats of A,B,C groups were normal.Conclusion The diabetic rats appears the change of the renal function,lipid metabolism disorder,oxidative stress at 6 week.YI SHE HUO XUE Chinese herb can delay the development of diabetic nephropathy by reducing oxidative stress and improving lipid metabolism.
