Abstract

Objective To compare the outcomes of video-assisted thoraeoscopic surgery and thoraeotomy in the treatment of spontaneous pnetanothorax.Method The clinical data of 45 cases of spontaneous pneumothorax in recent years were retrospectively analyzed. Results Twenty-four cases with spontaneous pneumothorax in the observation group were treated by video-assisted thoracoscope surgical treatment, whose operation time,peri-operative bleeding, the length of hospital and postoperative leak, infection of incision, pleural effusion, atelectasis were significantly lower than by traditional thoracotomy, control of 21 patients(P0.05).Conclusion Video-assisted thoracoscope surgical treatment of spontaneous pneumothorax with the advantages of definite effect, small trauma, faster recovery, good hairdressing effect, not easy to relapse etc,is worth in clinical experiences.
