Abstract
Using stochastic frontier approach with panel data,it inspects the relationship between RD and technical efficiency of high-tech industries in China.It draws three research results.Firstly,technical efficiency level of high-tech industries in China is low,but has been improved steadily as a whole.Secondly,there are remarkable differences among the technical efficiencies of different high-tech industries,and the gap is increasing.Thirdly,RD has significant positive effect on technical efficiency.
