Abstract
Using Stochastic Frontier Approach of panel data,the technical efficiency of the high-tech industries in china was investigated.The result shows:(1) the technical efficiency level was low,however rised steadily as a whole,(2) the technical efficiency of each region in the high-tech was remarkably different,wiht the technical efficiency of the eastern region higher than the middle and western region,(3) the nationwide technical efficiency reflects convergence nationwide.
