R&D Transformation Efficiency of High-Tech Industries in Beijing——Based on the Stochastic Frontier Production Function Analysis

Abstract

Using stochastic frontier production function analysis,this paper analyzes RD efficiency of high-tech Industries in Beijing.Studies show that output efficiency of RD funds of Beijing high-tech industry is relatively ideal,however,output efficiency of RD personnel still has much room for improvement;RD transformation efficiency of high-tech industry is overall rising steadily,but different industries have significant differences;from the perspective of influencing factors which impact RD transformation efficiency of Beijing high-tech industry,industrial profit and government support has positive effects on the RD transformation efficiency,while market structure has no significant effect.Based on the empirical results,the paper puts forward suggestions on enhancing the RD transformation efficiency of high-tech industry in Beijing.
