Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)on the healing of abdominal incision. Methods:The healing process of 48 cases divided into bFGF group(n=24) and control group(n=24) was observed, the healing time and class-A healing rate were counted, and date were analysed by statistics. Results:The healing time in the bFGF group was shorter and the class-A healing rate was higher compared with those in control group. Conclusion:Routime application of bFGF on abdominal incision only once after operation can accelerate wound healing and improve class-A healing rate, without the risk of increasing the infection rate.
