Abstract

The light intensity distributions of Fraunhofer twin rectangular aperture diffraction and its special cases were analyzed.Taking sunlight as light source, the sunlight Fraunhofer twin rectangular aperture diffraction and its special cases were simulated using Matlab software. The results showed that, the light intensity distributions of Fraunhofer twin rectangular aperture diffraction are results of the coherent superposition of two rectangular aperture diffractions, colors of the simulation pictures of these diffractions are exquisite and vivid, which can be applied in the fields such as research and teaching related to sunlight.
