Abstract
The light intensity distributions of Fraunhofer twin rectangular aperture diffraction and its special cases were analyzed.Based on the Matlab software,the computer simulations of Fraunhofer twin rectangular aperture diffraction experiments and its special cases were achieved.The results show that the light intensity distributions of Fraunhofer twin rectangular aperture diffraction are the results of coherent superposition of two rectangular aperture diffractions.The simulation pictures are consistent with the results of actual experiments,and can be applied in the fields such as optical computer aided instruction.
