Abstract
Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods Clinical datas of 74 cases of patients who were diagnosed with SAP in emergency department of our hospital were analyzed retrospectively. All cases were divided into observation group and control group, each group had 37 cases.Control group was treated with ambrosia, fluid infusion, nutritional support, antiinfection and other treatment of western.Observation group was treated with Pancreatic clear soup on the basis of control group.Symptom remission time, hospital stays, laboratory parameters, complications and mortality were observed and compared between the two groups. Results Remission time of stomachache and abdominal distention, defecate time, hospital stays of the observation group were less than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P0.05).After treatment of 3 d,the level of PAF,ET,TNF-α,IL-6,CRP of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P 0.05).The mortality of the observation group was less than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P 0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of combination of Chinese traditional and Western medicine in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis is safe and effective, which is worthy of clinical application.
