Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of treatment in patients with severe acute pancreatitis by combination of Chinese traditional medicine and western medicine.Methods Two hundred cases were randomly divided into therapeutic group(n=100) and control group(n=100).Patients in therapeutic group were treated with combination of Chinese traditional medicine and western medicine.Patients in control group were treated with western medicine.Results Rates of mortality and complications in therapeutic group were lower than those of control group,and the efficacy of therapeutic group was better than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion The therapy of combination of Chinese traditional medicine and western medicine was satisfactory in treatment of patients with severe acute pancreatitis.
