Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of low-dose naloxone on cardiac functions in elderly patients with congestive heart failure.METHODS 55 cases of elderly patients with congestive heart failure were randomly divided into treatment group(28 cases) and control group(27 cases). In the treatment group, the patients were treated with intravenous injection of naloxone 0.4 mg per day on the basis of conventional heart failure treatment, while in the control group only with conventional heart failure treatment. The clinical efficacy and changes of related indicators were observed after 2 weeks of treatment.RESULTS After being treated, the total clinical effective rate in the treatment group was 89.3%,and in control group was 77.8%,there was a significant difference(P0.01).Comparing with after and before treatment in both group,LVSd,LVDd and NT-proBNP were decreased, while the LVEF and 6 min walking distance were increased, those changes of above indicators were more obvious than those in the control group, and there was a significant difference(P0.05).CONCLUSION Being treated with low-dose naloxone on the basis of conventional heart failure treatment in elderly patients with congestive heart failure,it could significantly improve the cardiac function and the clinical efficacy.
