Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of combined traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in the treatment of functional dyspepsia in order to improve the clinical efficacy for the patients. Methods The control group was given the gastric motility promotion drug domperidone and the treatment group was given Xiangsha Liujunzi soup in addition to the domperidone. The clinical efficacy after 4 weeks of continuous treatment of the two groups was observed. Results The overall effective rate of clinical treatment was 92% in the treatment group and 76% in the control group respectively, with statistically significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion The combined traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine is superior to the simple Western medicine in the clinical efficacy in the treatment of functional dyspepsia, thus worthy of clinical promotion and application.
