Abstract

Objective To validate the clinical effectiveness of western and traditional Chinese therapy on functional dyspepsia(FD).Methods Forty patients with FD taking Motilum and shu-gan-jian-pi method were compared with thirty-six patients with FD taking Motilum and Doxepine. Results Total effective rate of observation group was 92.5%,but total effective rate of control group was 72.2%.Total effective rate in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, the test of statistics showed notability significance(P0.01).Conclusion Total effective rate in traditional and western medicine group significantly higher than those in western medicine,Combined traditional and Western medicine in treating FD is better method at present.
