Reforming Teaching of Laboratory Diagnostics to Meet the Requirements of Clinical Development

The present-day teaching model of laboratory diagnostics cannot keep up with the rapid development of laboratory diagnostics.How we can make the teaching of laboratory diagnostics meet the requirements of medical development and clinical practice deserves investigation.The current situation in laboratory diagnostics teaching is analyzed from the perspectives of objective-based teaching,curriculum,teaching content,teaching facilities,teaching funds,and teaching faculty.Some thoughts on reform are put forward: the aim is clinical application and the core is to train and improve students' ability in clinical thinking and practice.Such measures as revising teaching syllabus,improving teaching content and model,optimizing teachers' quality,and changing operating or validating experiments into demonstrative or analytical experiments have been proved effective.
