Abstract
OBJECTIVE To prepare Tangzhikang capsules and study its quality standard. METHODS Tangzhikang capsules was prepared with Radix Astragali, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei and chitosan as principally raw materials. Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae in Tangzhikang capsules were identified by TLC. The content of emodin and chrysophanol in the capsules were determined by HPLC. RESULTS Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae in Tangzhikang capsules could be detected by TLC. The total content of emodin and chrysophanol was 2.37~ 2.89 mg·g -1. The average recovery of emodin was 98.38%(RSD= 1.24%,n=6);The average recovery of chrysophanol was 97.76%(RSD= 1.17%,n=6). These methods are simple, accurate and specific. CONCLUSION The of Tangzhikang capsules rational, and the preparation procedure is practicable. This product accords with the quality requirement for capsules. The quality of this product can be controlled by the quality standard.
