Abstract

Objective To develop the quality control of Dabaidu capsules. Methods Herba taraxaci, Radix paeoniae rubra and Radix angelicae dahuricae in Dabaidu capsules were identified by TLC, emodin and chrysophanol in Dabaidu capsules were determinated by HPLC. Results Herba taraxaci, Radix paeoniae rubra and Radix angelicae dahuricae can be identified by TLC. Emodin showed a good linear relationship at range of 0.004~0.04 μg, r=0.9999. The average recovery was 100.85% and RSD was 1.56% (n=5). Chrysophanol showed a good linear relationship at range of 0.0075~0.075 μg, r=0.9999. The average recovery was 100.52% and RSD was 1.63% (n=5). Conclusion The methods are accurate and can be used for the quality control of Dabaidu capsules.
