Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of P16 in the breast cancer and adenosis and clinicopathologic features. Methods The expression of P16 was detected in 52 patients with breast cancer,15 patients with adenosis by the immunohistochemical staining. Results The frequency of P16 staining in breast cancer was 44.2%(23/52),being significantly higher than that of in adenosis73.3%(11/15)(P0.05). Furthermore, the positive expression of P16 was associated with high grading and lymphytic metastasis(P0.05). Conclusion The abnormal expression of P16 may associate with the occur of tumor, proliferation and lymphytic metastasis.
