Effects of Chinese herbal on the serum bio-chemical traits

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of Chinese herbal additives on the serum bio-chemical traits.In clinical trials,ninety-six crossbred(Landrace×Yorkshire) pigs(28±2) were assigned to 4 groups.Piglets in treatment groups were fed with diets supplemented with 0、0.1%、0.2%、0.4% Chinese herbal additives,respectively.The test lasted 21 days.The experiment showed that dietary supplements of Chinese herbal decreased the activity of serum Creatine kinase(P0.05) and Lactate dehydrogenase in the 7th(P0.05),increased the Alkaline phosphatase activity(P0.05).Dietary supplement of 0.2% of Chinese herbal was the best.
