Abstract

Ninety-six crossbred(Landrace × Yorkshire) pigs(28±2) were assigned to 4 groups randomly.Piglets in treatments were fed diets supplemented respectively with 0,0.1%,0.2% and 0.4% Chinese herbal additives,to study the effects of Chinese herbal additives on the growth performance. The test lasted 21 days. The experiment showed: dietary supplements of Chinese herbal increased ADG(p0.05),improved F/G(p0.05),and decreased rates of diarrhea in 7d and 14d(p0.05).Chinese herbal had no effect on ADFI(p0.05).Dietary supplements of Chinese herbal increased IgA,C3 and NO of serum in 7d(p0.05).Dietary supplement of 0.05% Chinese herbal was the best.
