Analysis of 95503 outpatient prescriptions comments

Objective To improve the rational application of drugs by evaluating our hospital's outpatient prescription.Methods With a random sampling method,we selected 95503 cases of outpatient prescriptions from July to December 2011 as research data.According to Prescription and Hospital prescription Review Management Practices(Trial),prescriptions were reviewed one by one and filled in prescription evaluation form as well as statistical analysis on prescription basic indicators and proportion of unsuitable prescription.Results Our hospital prescription basic indicators are suitable.Steady decline in the proportion of unsuitable prescriptions.Conclusion Completed prescription quality management system and fully use hospital information to make prescription comments can improve hospitals level and promote rational use of drugs.
