Analysis of unqualified prescription in our hospital in 2012

Abstract

Objective To understand the unqualified outpatient prescription situation and to put forward suggestions.Method The 28 500(randomly selected 600copies a week,a total of 28 500)outpatient prescriptions in our hospital from January to December in 2012were selected according to the Prescription Management Method,the Hospital Prescription Reviews Management Standard(Trial),the New Pharmacology,and the instructions and documents of materials,to find out the unqualified prescriptions for classification and analysis.Results The hospital outpatient service prescription qualified rate was 94.32%.Among which nonstandard prescription occupied 3.41% and the unreasonable prescriptions accounted for 2.27%.Conclusion According to the results,the hospital should continue to carry out the prescription reviews,and intervention measures to improve the quality of outpatient prescription.
