Clinical observation on treating chronic urticaria with levocetirizine dihydrochloride

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride in the treatment of Chronic urticaria. Methods 135 cases with Chronic urticaria were treated by oral Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 5 mg daily for 14 days. Results The score declined significantly after the treatment (P0.01),Thera peutic effect in 2 weeks course were significantly higher than that of 1 week course(P0.01). Conclusion Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride is an effective and safe drug in the treatment of chronic urticaria.
